Web Dev

Here are a few websites that I built recently for clients to showcase their individual portfolios. I build fully responsive websites and apply the following process:

1. Consultation - discuss client objectives and define website layout and style
2. Proposal - provide project scope, budget estimate, and timeline
3. Design and Build - draft website and solicit feedback
4. Launch! - walk through final site and provide instructions on how to update

Digital Transformation

I initiated and championed a project to update the monthly corporate reporting process at one of Canada's largest integrated energy companies. I observed and mapped out the existing process then applied self-taught knowledge of PowerBI to make improvements.

Objective: Improve efficiency of monthly financial reporting process
• Key Result: Eliminate 100+ hours of manual data entry and manipulation
• Key Result: Reduce month-end overtime and employee burnout
• Key Result: Create template applicable across all assets for consistency
• Key Result: Utilize data visualization to provide readily available aggregate and drill down data for analysis
• Key Result: Reduce department operating costs by leveraging available software (Power BI)

Over 9 years, I held roles in long range strategic planning and short range mine planning where I discovered a passion for integrated operational problem solving.
